2021 - The Year of Three Composers
Igor Ruhadze (violin), Vital Stahievitch (piano)
The last program of the season is dedicated to the jubilee year of three composers: Sergei Prokofjev, Camille Saint-Saëns and Arno Babajanian. Next to the concert, an exhibition will take place: “We draw music”. Amateur artists of the Olga Meshkova Artlama Studio Almere were asked to portray the melodies as they see them.

Dances of the World

Characterised by the warm, round sound and energetic style, the Trio’s repertoire combines works from the classical Romantic period with contemporary music. With this program, the Erasmus Trio takes the audience on a trip around the world.

The Melodies of Spring and Hope

With this beautiful program we were planning to open the concertseries for live audience after almost 6 months of online performances only. Spring as a symbol of dreams, rebirth and hope has become an actual name for the concert of Igor Ruhadze and Vital Stahievietch.

Egon Kracht & The New World Quartet
Composer Egon Kracht, environmental activist and visionary, is the driving force behind this ensemble. This concert features his "Dances", a musical novel with a prologue and two suites “in which musical worlds meet in a new and sustainable vision of the future. ” - Egon Kracht.

Piano works by Beethoven & Schumann

The program of this concert has been changed at the last moment at the request of the pianist. Nicolas van Poucke will play works by Chopin which he presented last week at the Empty Sessions in the Concertgebouw.

The Seven Last Words of Christ ONLINE
Igor Ruhadze & Ensemble Violini Capricciosi
Originally this masterpiece is an orchestral work by Joseph Haydn, adapted it in 1787 for string quartet by the composer himself. It consists of seven main meditative sections labelled "sonatas", framed by a slow Introduction and a fast "Earthquake" conclusion, with the readings from the Bible in-between.

In this program, Lars, Esra and Anastasia — LEA Trio — present the «hidden gems» of late Romanticism: not-so-often-performed but nonetheless very touching pieces by less known composers Carl Reinecke and Gordon Jacob.

Maria Pedano (16 y.o), Anushka Pedano (18 y.o.) and Elizabeth Ruhadze (13 y.o.) are all scholars and program participants of the Stichting Bevordering Jong Talent, where Igor is the Artistic advisor.
